Description

Halfway Kitchen is a casual dining project designed with a brand-driven architecture approach, where the visual identity becomes an integrated part of the building expression. Located in an urban commercial area, the project creates a modern, open, and welcoming culinary space that responds to contemporary urban lifestyles. The building façade features a simple and clean massing composition combined with textured translucent panels illuminated by hidden linear lighting. This design strategy creates a glowing façade effect at night while strengthening the brand visibility through the green signage as the main focal point. Strong horizontal lines and brand color accents further enhance the building’s modern and recognizable character. The spatial design emphasizes transparency and visual connection between the interior and exterior areas. Large glass openings on the frontage improve the commercial appeal while creating an open, bright, and inviting atmosphere for visitors. The layout is divided into three main zones: the cashier and service area with an efficient open-counter system, the main dine-in area with flexible seating arrangements, and a semi-outdoor area that offers a relaxed and communal dining experience. The circulation is designed in a linear and intuitive way to ensure a clear and comfortable flow for users. The interior combines a light modern-industrial style with natural elements. Light wood materials, decorative concrete blocks, and tropical vegetation create a balance between contemporary aesthetics and warmth. Rattan pendant lamps together with recessed ceiling lighting help create an intimate, comfortable, and friendly atmosphere. More than just a dining space, Halfway Kitchen is designed as a vibrant social hub that integrates brand identity, spatial experience, and lighting strategy into a strong and contextually relevant architectural experience.
